We establish KNOC Volunteers Corps to carry out a large-scale and systematic voluntary services in 2006. KNOC will do our best to realize the social responsibility as a state-owned company leading Korea's energy independence by providing the true voluntary services.
KNOC has made an effort to share our resources by a variety of activities, such as periodical supporting to the welfare facilities and the young family heads, a sympathetic visit to the military corps, participating to the charity?bazaar held by the Korea National Red Cross etc. All of our branches are also carrying out voluntary services to meet the diverse needs of their own communities.
KNOC are carrying out a lot of voluntary activities to contribute to our neighbors and local societies. After the sisterhood relationship with Yongsomak villiage in Wonju in 2005, KNOC also established the sisterhood relationship with Ulsan technical highschool in 2006. In 2007 KNOC founded the scholarship for youngsters to assist the highschool students majoring in science and technology.
KNOC think highly of the preservation of the natural environment and carry out preventive activities, such as antipollution measures to the vicinal areas of stockpile bases, and the cleanup campaigns for the water especially on the World Water Day, tree planting events on the Arbor Day, etc.
