Job Creation Achievement (for 5 years from 2017 to 2021)

① Contributed on increasing public jobs by recruiting young workers and the disabled and converting temporal workers to regular workers

• (Conversion to regular workers) Completed conversion of 148 temporal workers to regular workers in accordance with the guidelines by the State Government
  - 46 workers in 2018(by KNOC) --> 102 worers in 2019(by subsidiaries)
• (New Recruitment) KNOC employed 90 young workers, female workers and local competent workers even under the emergency management circumstances
• (The disabled) KNOC is the only public organization managing the disabled athletes team and employed 20 workers in charge of the affairs related to the disabled athletes team
  ※ KNOC won the Minister’s Prize on Employment of the Disabled (2020) and Bronze Prize for True Company(2020)

② Expanding the jobs in private sector through continuing investment on key businesses based on the main business of KNOC

• (Stockpile) Achieved the employment effect creating total 4,143 jobs for 5 years through stockpile site construction including Ulsan underground stockpile site construction and stockpile facility maintenance work
• (E&P) Achieved the employment effect creating total 215 jobs through domestic exploration, gas field production and technology cooperation process
• (Petroleum Distribution) Indirectly created jobs by expanding frugal gas stations and achieved the employment effect creating 2,156 jobs by supporting startup through free API on oil price information

③ Sustainable job creation by exploring new growth businesses using the capability of KNOC

• (Northeast Asia Energy Hub) Created 3,158 local jobs and activated local economy by achieving the Ulsan North Harbor LNG and Oil Storage Construction progress rate 26%(as of the end of 2021)
• (Floating Offshore Wind Power) Created 37 jobs by passing through the preliminary feasibility survey of the state government(May 2021), acquiring the power generation business license(Nov. 2021) and then securing the basis for project implementation
• (CCS/Hydrogen Ammonia) Lots of jobs can be created when the new energy project in connection with the government policy is started
